Have been listening to the show from the beginning and it's one of my favorite podcasts!! Have you considered doing a show on Tristan da Cunha - billed as the most remote, inhabited island in the world?
Thanks for the suggestion Mike. Do you have any knowledge about the place? Or suggestions for people who do? Email us at podcast@worldnomads.com.
And thanks for listening.
Hi! Loved the podcast on women in travel and thought it had a lot of great content, but my only complaint was that I wish it was a little more inclusive in language. It was glossed over briefly, but sexuality and identity present a lot of challenges in all aspects of interaction in our own societies, and while traveling. I think it's important to acknowledge that and therefore eliminate speech that says men do____ and women do ____. Gender roles are social constructs and we can do whatever the heck we want! Plus there's so many folks who don't subscribe to that binary system and we're all just human beings bopping around the planet in our little skin suits so let's acknowledge the freedom in that!!
Hi Morgan, great feedback and in retrospect, I agree. I think we should explore sexuality and identity and the challenges while traveling in future episodes, so if you have any ideas on content or interviews we could do please email me kim.napier@worldnomads.com.
Thanks for listening and overall, I am glad you liked the episode.

Just saw this podcast comment on Tristan. Sailed there around 1979, spent a couple of spectacualar days.
I was on a sail boat heading back to Cape Town from ST Vincent.
Did quite a bit of sailing in my youth.
Retiring and going too hit the road once again.
Nov. off to Peru for 5 month backpacking.
66 year old single male.
I feel may have a niche with retired folk???
Hi Ian, what an adventurous life you are leading. We'd love to hear more. Can you email me at my address kim.napier@worldnomads.com?
Hi! I love the podcasts and content! Have you ever considered a podcast episode on youth travelers? I am nineteen and have a bunch of crazy travel stories and have met so many other youth solo travelers. I think a podcast on how so many young people are beginning to explore the world would be super cool and inspiring!
Hi Jaime, great idea for an ep. I have sent you a FB message.
Great podcast!! Would you consider an ep on cycle touring? I just finished my first solo tour -18 months from Thailand to Spain on bicycle. Would be really cool to get more female content out there as it was something I was looking for when planning my own trip. I'd be really happy to be a part of the normalization of solo female cycle touring
I love your podcast! Full of great intel and loads of giggles too! I am currently traveling the world, long-term with my family and we are also World Nomad Insurance policy holders. I was trying to see if you would like to interview me for your podcast as we are in Vietnam right now and have no intention of ending our travels due to the Coronavirus. My wife and I are both Registered Nurses and take the health and well being of our family very seriously and I thought you might want to hear about our experiences with the current situation and our nomadic life in general. Thank you!
I am enjoying these podcasts -- the recent Covid19 podcasts -- very much. One thing, though: could you publish the show notes as part of the show I download? It's really hard to come to this page and find, for instance, details about the woman who is now, among other things, keeping street dogs alive in Thailand. I scanned episodes but can't find that segment mentioned. It would be easier not to switch from my podcast app and its show notes... Thanks for listening...
Hi Scott,
Thanks for your feedback, and glad you are enjoying the latest podcasts!
We are exploring our options with the transcript/show notes for an easier user experience, and this feedback is really helpful. One possible solution could be a link to the show notes page within the description of the podcast on each app.
The show notes page for the latest episode you are referring to (Episode for May 20) has just gone live: https://www.worldnomads.com/explore/worldwide/the-world-nomads-podcast-covid-19-travel-news-20-may

I love the program
Dear Phil,
I read your recommendations about driving in Ukraine. At some point you write: “Sometimes they wont ask for a bribe at all. Sometimes they will make up ludicrous accusations. But remember that it's simply easier just to pay a small bribe than try to argue – which will see you wind up in more trouble.” Although you mention in the next paragraph that it is illegal and one should avoid paying bribes, I don’t consider it correct to even suggest it. If even tourists fuel this system of corruption, how is supposed to be ever stopped. Corruption is one of the main factors that keeps this country from developing as it could.
Kind regards,
Martin
Your blog and podcast are amazing and filled with great information and adventure. We were just featured on a podcast (https://mobilefilmmaking.podbean.com/) which will be out next week. We had a blast and thought it would be fun to do more. I think we are a great fit for your niche.
We made a plan to downsize, get out of debt, help our children settle into college, quit our corporate jobs, and then we took off on a three-year adventure, which we are still on.
We consider ourselves as RV, Sailing, and Hiking Pros - We have traveled over 40,000 nautical miles sailing in our own boat (All over Mexico, the Marquesas, French Polynesia, Hawaii, and California), over 30,000 miles in our RV (All over the USA, Canada, and Alaska), and hiked 10,000 miles in some of the most amazing trails in the world. We have even written a book, "How to Make and Save Money While Traveling". We now both work freelance (Melissa is a Voice Over Artist and I rent our RV and do affiliate marketing).
We are sure you have hundreds of possible interviewees, however, we thought we would put our name in the hat as well. If you're interested in learning more, our YouTube channel will probably give you the best idea of who we are.
Thanks in advance,
Michael & Melissa
