Los Angeles, CA – Jan. 10, 2024 - World Nomads, a leading name in travel insurance and adventure storytelling, has launched a series of curated, snackable travel itineraries designed to spark wanderlust and exploration. The debut guide in this three-part digital series shines a spotlight on Thailand, offering a fresh take on travel with immersive, off-the-beaten-path experiences in both vibrant city centers and lesser-known towns. This innovative approach reimagines World Nomads' cherished travel guides, catering to modern adventurers seeking authentic, local experiences. Each itinerary is crafted by seasoned travel experts—Mark Eveleigh, Selena Hoy, and Tamara Thiessen — who bring unparalleled destination knowledge as locals or long-time residents of these vibrant countries.

Thailand was a natural choice to kick off this series, with the country set to be a hot spot in 2025. From hosting the highly anticipated next season of MAX’s hit series The White Lotus in February to earning the title of “2025’s Destination of the Year” by Travel + Leisure, Thailand is most definitely in the spotlight. The itinerary invites globetrotters to experience everything from serene houseboat stays in Kanchanaburi to the vibrant street food scene in bustling Bangkok bazaars. With Japan and France to follow, World Nomads’ new generation of travel guides promise to inspire adventurers to explore the world like never before.

“While we are first and foremost in the business of protecting our nomads as they travel, we have always been a brand seeking to inform and inspire with creative travel content, whether it be the “Travel Wiser” section of our site or the travel guidebooks we offered prior to the pandemic,” said Christina Tunnah, General Manager of Marketing and Brands, World Nomads. “This new iteration of itineraries allows us to continue helping our nomads plan their bucket list adventures near and far, all the while knowing they can do so with the peace of mind that their once-in-a-lifetime trip is protected.”

The countries featured in the guides are among some of the top destinations that World Nomads’ global audience of globetrotters and adventurers are booking. The itineraries offer travelers an opportunity to slow down, immerse in local cultures, and travel more sustainability by getting off the traditional path. Additionally, all three destinations are expected to have their moment in the sun in 2025 stemming from continued post-pandemic interest in Asia, an increase in popularity of the set-jetting trend and watching France during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
