Gary is a freelance journalist who has lived in the three countries prefixed with United — Kingdom, States and Arab Emirates — yet now resides in prefixless Brazil. With a penchant for passport stamps, he has visited more than 90 countries and filed stories from more than 40 of them. When he is not eating the strangest thing on the menu, he can be found putting together elaborate travel itineraries that make his family wince.
