I‘m from Sydney and have always lived and worked in Australia but have visited 31 countries. I speak English and Ancient Geek. In each of the countries I visit, I try to learn how to say "Hello", "Thank you" and "My friend will pay the bill".
I was at a previous employer when my boss quietly asked me if I could work on his secret side-project. It turned out to be the first version of the World Nomads website. I've been working on it now since 2001. My current role is managing and improving the technical side of our Content Management System (CMS – what you are reading this on now). We currently have more than 44,000 pages of content online, growing at many thousands of pages per year.
My memorable trips include Easter Island, which was a standout, but also trekking in Nepal towards Mt Everest and around the Annapurnas.
