Meet Wendy Wang

Marketing Data Analyst

I was born in China and have lived on several islands – UK, Indonesia – before settling on the big island of Australia. I speak English, Mandarin and a few Chinese dialects.

I joined World Nomads in 2018 in the finance team but am now a Data Analyst. I create the underlying data for the brand and provide the analysis to support various marketing teams. I love working here because I find inspiration in World Nomads' strong social accountability and values. Also, there’s a great work-life balance.

I travel to fulfil my curiosity about the world, to find out about different cultures, and food, to see scenery and to meet interesting people. One of my most memorable travel experiences was seeing the most beautiful night sky full of stars when my train was delayed on the way to the Isle of Skye.
