On Thursday, 9th January 2025, wildfires continued across multiple areas in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Media reports indicate multiple deaths and property destruction with evacuation orders in place. An extreme fire danger forecast is expected to continue over the coming days.
Policies purchased after 12:00am, 09 January 2025, AEST will not provide cover for losses arising from this event as the event is now widely reported in the media.
This does not impact cover provided by policies purchased prior to this time, subject to the terms of the policy.

How does this event affect your cover
