You need to be at least 18 or the age of majority in your country (whichever is higher) at the time of the competition entry deadline (1 August 2019) in order to enter. Sorry, we can't make any exceptions to this rule.
Unfortunately, due to legal restrictions in each country, this competition is not open to residents of Italy, Quebec, Crimea, Iran, Syria, North Korea and Sudan. While we would have loved to include them, it's out of our hands. The individual laws of each country restrict us from running this competition in each jurisdiction. If you are a resident of one of these excluded countries and also a resident of a country not on this list then you can still enter.
Yes! They can come along as the travel companion of a winner, provided they meet the same passport and visa requirements (below). The restrictions only apply to them entering the competition.
You need a current passport with at least eight months left before expiry. We'll assist the winner in acquiring a visa and reimburse all associated costs, however the person entering must be eligible to obtain a visa to their chosen of destination for the length of their travel period.
Sorry, employees of World Nomads, STA Travel or TourRadar and their subsidiaries and affiliated companies, and members of their immediate families or households, are ineligible to enter this competition.
Each of the three winners will be chosen based on creativity, answering the question and having the most interesting, unique, original and well-written entry. You can find the weightings in the terms and conditions page under point 5. 'Selection and Notification of Winners'.
You will be able to choose your own travel dates however all bookings and payments must be made before 30 June 2020. World Nomads will work with your to plan your itinerary as needed.
It's completely up to you! We want to help recreate or reimagine your last trip. Outside of your chosen tour from TourRadar, the itinerary is completely flexible and will be decided upon by each winner with help from World Nomads.
Sorry, but the prize is just for you and 1 nominated companion. Your travel companion must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the competition entry deadline (30 June 2019) and will be held to the same passport and visa requirements as the winner. This means that dogs, cats and any pets are not able to come on this trip unless they are necessary disability aid animals (this does not include emotional support peacocks).
You can decide the length of your trip, however any expenses incurred above the prize limits will be the responsibility of you and your travel companion.
The spending money will go towards any expenses on your trip that are not outlined in the prizes listed above. This will include, but is not limited to: food, extra activities and any accommodation costs not included in the tour prize.
