Wildfires in California - January 2025

On Thursday, 9th January 2025, wildfires continued across multiple areas in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Media reports indicate multiple deaths and property destruction with evacuation orders in place. An extreme fire danger forecast is expected to continue over the coming days.

Policies purchased from Tuesday, January 7, 2025 will not provide cover for losses arising from this event as it is now widely reported in the media.

This does not impact cover provided by policies purchased prior to this date, subject to the terms of the policy.
