What can the emergency assistance team help with?
Our Emergency Assistance Team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Emergency Assistance team is here to help you obtain the care and attention you need in case of an emergency while traveling. They can help with:
- Locating the nearest medical facilities
- Arranging medical transport
- Arranging medical evacuation, if required
- Setting up payments to medical facilities
- Locating the nearest embassies and consulates
- Liaising with your family back home
In the event of an emergency, call the local emergency authorities first to receive immediate assistance, and then contact our Emergency Assistance team to discuss your situation.

What information should I have ready when I call?
So that our Emergency Assistance teams can help you quickly, have the following ready:
- Your policy number
- A contact number for where you are now
- The nature of your problem
- Your location
- Prescribed medication (if any)
