There are several ways you can check on the status of your claim.
You should have been assigned a unique claim number when you completed the claim forms online (which can be found on the top left side of the claim form). Have that number handy as this will assist our representatives in locating your claim. If you can’t locate your claim number, contact us for assistance.
If you consented to be contacted via email (you checked the box for eConsent), we will communicate the status of your claim via email.
By phone
You can give the customer service team a call at 1-844-207-1930 and follow the prompts to connect to a virtual assistant. A virtual assistant will text you a link through which you can check your claim status.
Check the website
Trip Mate is World Nomads’ claims administrator for U.S. residents. You can log onto their website at www.travelclaimsonline.com, click on the menu field on the right side of the screen and select 'Claim Status'. After you submit the three fields of information (last name, date of birth, claim ID), your claim activity log, which shows the status of your claim, should appear.
By email
You can send us an email to check on the status of your claim. Select 'Travel Insurance' and 'Making a Claim' in the contact form and include your claim number in the subject line. A member of the claims team should get back to you with an update. *Expected response time by email is 24-48 hours
