A man with HIV was taken to a private clinic funded by TUSC supporters. This is an image of his X-ray drying, unclear and not accepted by many other of the country's hospitals because they don't provide reliable grounds for diagnosis. He died a few weeks later.

A little girl suffers from impetigo, only clearing up because of the advice given by TUSC the previous week. Without advice, Impetigo can lead to scarring, cellulitis and even Scarlet Fever.

TUSC visited a village affected by jiggers, small parasites that burrow into the feet of adults and children. Trained to remove them, our single employee helped some of the community but this can be painful and leaves scars.

Children with Nothing. By far my favourite image from the trip. These children, by our definition have nothing, just the clothes on their back yet look at their happy faces and playful gestures. They are a reminder that even the worst of us can continue to be happy if we have each other.
