I lived in a local neighbourhood for two weeks, watching and documenting everything. Crumbling buildings, dirt floors, children playing until dusk on the streets with toy guns, stray cats fighting on the roof at midnight. The city is alive.

I saw the pain and hardship on faces of those experiencing the very close turmoil and lack of income through tourism. I started to notice the steel gaze of those around me. But that also didn't define them, they still were living their daily life.
