Usually, train rides take long hours up to a couple of days. In one of the carts, local chefs prepare the most delicious thali and samosas for all of the people on the train. They cook nonstop under the intent gaze of Gandhi.

There are rarely any free places on the train. With a lack of alternative, many people simply hop on the train without tickets and sit on the floor, baggage banks and near the exits. With so many people, the floor becomes a playground, a debate place, even a dancehall.
