How do I make a claim if I can't complete it online?

As we've recently changed our insurer, please select the date you bought your policy:

For policies purchased on or after 27 June 2024

You can set up your claim online or call the Claims Services team at Collinson Insurance Solutions Europe Limited who manage claims on behalf of your insurer, Collinson Insurance Europe Limited.

You can also log into your World Nomads membership, and in your policy record, select ‘Make a Claim’ to make an online claim.

Alternatively, you can submit your claim over the telephone. You can send your claims documentation to: Collinson Insurance Solutions Europe Limited, Office 14, Kells Enterprise and Technology Centre, Kells Business Park, Cavan Road, Kells, County Meath, A82 E1C6, Ireland.

For policies purchased before 27 June 2024

Step 1: Get your paperwork together

To consider your claim, your insurer will need certain documents from your travels and evidence to support your claim.

Step 2: Make a claim online, by email or over the phone

If you have internet up and running, it’ll be most efficient to lodge your clam online. You can claim even while you’re still travelling, when it’s easiest to get documents such as local police reports and medical records.

We ask that claims be made no later than 60 days after returning home in order to avoid delays in collecting records, evidence, witness statements and other information requested to support your claim.

For your claim to be processed quickly, it's important that you complete all the relevant sections of the online claim form, provide any additional information and documentation requested, and give as much detail as you can.

5 tips to better claims

  • Provide all requested information, including completing any requested forms.
  • ​​Make sure you upload or send all your supporting documents.
  • If you complete any information by hand, please write clearly.
  • If in doubt, tell us more not less.
  • If posting your claim, take copies of everything and send it recorded delivery.

Step 3: File your claim

The fastest way to submit a claim is by making an online claim.

  • Please check your online form thoroughly before submitting.
  • Scan or photograph all supporting documents, including your Certificate of Insurance which has your policy number, traveller details and trip details.
  • When emailing, attach photographs and other supporting documents (max file size 10Mb).
  • Keep a copy of all documents for your records.
