How do I sign up to be a World Nomads affiliate?
The process is easy and straightforward. If you don’t have a CJ account, here’s how to create one:
- Sign up as a CJ Publisher through the short online form.
- Then apply through CJ for the World Nomads Advertiser program

What if I already have a CJ account?
If you already have an account with CJ, great! Just apply through CJ for the World Nomads Affiliate Program and World Nomads will review your application. If you need help accessing your CJ account or have questions, CJ Client Support is available to assist you at cj.com/contact-us.

What kind of information or paperwork do I need to sign up?
Once you validate your email, in order to activate your CJ account you must complete an onboarding checklist.
Please be prepared with the following:
- Your name, email, and phone number
- Network Profile: a detailed description of your affiliate promotional methods or your general business model in your own words
- Promotional Property: a list of channels you own where you can place an Advertiser’s links and content
- You or your company’s payment details and tax forms including:
- Mailing address
- Currency you want to be paid in
- Tax information
- Payment information

Who is the new affiliate agreement with?
There are two separate contracts required. When you sign up as a Publisher on CJ, you enter into an agreement with CJ by accepting its terms and conditions.
When you apply to and are accepted by the World Nomads Affiliate Program through CJ, you also enter into an agreement with World Nomads by accepting our program terms and conditions.

Who is CJ?
CJ is an affiliate marketing company operating the world’s largest and most-established affiliate platform. It is part of the Publicis Groupe, which is headquartered in France but has operations around the world. Learn more about CJ.

How does CJ collect and use my data – is it secure?

When I need email help, should I email CJ or a World Nomads account manager?
Support for you as a Publisher on CJ is available on-line through the Contact Us area in the CJ Account Manager. CJ’s online support also allows you to check the status of all issues through the "Check Question Status" feature.
To discuss insurance, marketing campaign collaboration, other World Nomads specific matters, or queries regarding your old account on our Former Partner Program, you can email us at wnpartners@worldnomads.com.

Will I get program emails, newsletters and/or program updates from CJ or from World Nomads?
Both. When you join CJ as a Publisher you may receive marketing tips, CJ-specific program updates, reporting, payment, and other communications. You’ll have the ability within your Profile to change some of your email settings and preferences.
World Nomads may also communicate with you regarding any program or insurance product changes, regulations, travel or insurance alerts, and company news as appropriate. These communications will be sent by us through the CJ platform.
Digital assets

Can World Nomads provide content to use on my website and where can I access this?
Yes, we have approved copy called ‘text links’ that can be downloaded and added to your site. We’ve also developed a large range of banners in various sizes, with the larger versions containing more approved copy. Head to the ‘links’ section in CJ and search ‘World Nomads’ to access our full catalogue. Select the asset you require and copy the code to enter on your website.

Do you have any examples showing how I can bring my digital assets and content together on my website?
Yes, we have created a web page mock up for you, named "Anatomy of an Affiliate Landing Page", to reference which has been based on the layouts of some of our highest performing partners. Click here to view.

Is there a Quote Widget (Quick Quote Calculator) available to download?
Unfortunately, under current regulations, affiliates are not authorized to feature a quote widget on their sites.
You can utilize the banners we’ve made available to direct your customers to World Nomads where they can generate quotes. These will be tracked to you.

Do I have to include a disclaimer on my page where I mention World Nomads and if so, which disclaimer do I use?
Yes, you do have to include a disclaimer on any page where you mention or link to World Nomads. This is a requirement under the World Nomads Affiliate Program terms and conditions.
The disclaimer can be located the same way you locate all other assets on CJ – simply search the word “Disclaimer” or find it via the Link ID: 15423653. No other disclaimers can be used.

Can I use ‘Deep Linking’ on my site?
We are no longer allowing affiliates to use deep links. Instead, we have template wording that is used alongside our links.

Payments and fees

How do you pay affiliates?
We offer a tiered flat rate ‘pay per quote’ model, regardless of if the quote converts to a sale. Regulations do not allow an affiliate to earn a percentage of the premium from successfully referring a travel insurance sale.
The tiers are Bronze, Silver and Gold. All new affiliates default to the Bronze tier with the opportunity to move to Silver or Gold, based on performance.

What currencies can I get paid in?
CJ offers dozens of currency options, and its partnership with Payoneer allows you to get paid in your local currency via your local bank account (no need to open an international bank account). Get more details about Payoneer and CJ.

How and when will I be paid when I join the program with CJ?
CJ credits your account with a payout for each qualifying transaction in accordance with the World Nomads payout rate and program terms.
On or about the 20th day of each calendar month, CJ will issue to you any positive balance in your account for transactions reported for the previous month, provided your account balance exceeds the required Minimum Account Balance of USD $100.

I was an affiliate with World Nomads Program prior to moving across to CJ - what do I need to know?
As of 31 January 2023, we ceased tracking on any traffic generated to World Nomads via links that were developed prior to 16 November 2022. You must now remove any hyperlinks or references to World Nomads and cease using any World Nomads logos, banners or other World Nomads marketing collateral.
You will no longer be able to login to the Partner Portal. However, if you require copies of your Sales Statements for your tax records, we will retain what is necessary, in line with jurisdiction requirements. If you need assistance accessing these, please contact wnpartners@worldnomads.com.
We welcome you to sign up to CJ as a publisher and apply for the World Nomads Affiliate Program where you can replace any old content with our new digital marketing assets.

Can I remain on the original World Nomads platform?
No. As of 31 January 2023, we permanently closed the original World Nomads Partner Program.
If you wish to continue earning, you’ll need to create a CJ publisher account and apply for the World Nomads Affiliate Program. Once you’ve signed up, simply search World Nomads.

I still have earnings from the Partner Program prior to 16 November 2022 yet to be paid out – How do I arrange payment?
If you are yet to have been paid out of earnings from our Old Program, please complete this online form so we can collect your up-to-date payment details and address. We will in due course be arranging pay outs to all affiliates with an outstanding balance of more than $1 AUD.
We will continue to settle balances until the last policy sold has departed in January 2024.
