World Nomads makes it easy to submit a travel insurance claim online. This process will need digital versions of your supporting documents. Here’s how to do this:
• Use a scanner app to scan documents with your smartphone’s camera.
• Use a scanner to create an image file or PDF of your document.
• Take a photo with a digital camera, such as the one on a smartphone.
Please ensure your digital document is sharp and legible, with no text cropped off the sides.
We accept emails jpegs and pdfs (as well as text and Word documents). Each document should be no larger than 5mb.
The claims department may ask you to send the original versions of your digital documents. In the event of a medical claim, immediate notice should be provided to the Emergency Assistance Team.
